It is that time of the year again. Tim Cook took to the stage to show us a new phone!
Apple announced the highly anticipated iPhone 11 from California on 10 September 2019. Thousands of people tuned in to catch a glimpse of the new device.
What Was Announced
Expected and delivered features included:
- Redesigned rear camera with a new multi-lens system
- Improved battery life
- Shatter resistance technology
- New colour options
The new phone launched in three versions: a larger Pro model, a standard edition, and a more basic LCD version.
A First for Apple
This was the first year that Apple streamed their event on YouTube, marking a shift in how the company reaches its audience beyond the traditional invite-only presentation. The event started at 6PM UK time and ran for approximately two hours.
